Fisher-Price Amazing Animals Train

I bought this for my daughter about 2 years ago, it has stood up to the test of time, not a single piece broken despite my daughter's rough-handling. The train does eat up batteries really quick though, especially if my daughter keeps making it run round the place by itself. The good thing about this toy is that you can set the toy's volume to loud or soft or off. You can also set the train to be on automated-running mode, or set it so that it doesn't run on its own. It does look VERY eye-catching to adults and children alike. The toddlers can't stop fighting over it when they *first* see it. However, it can grow old quite quickly. I think my daughter got tired of it after about a month, and nowadays she rarely takes it off the shelf to play... Perhaps the odd day in a fortnight or month she'd want to play with it.

Not as good value for money as the Peppa Pig playhouse set in my case, which gets played with almost every day for the past year and a half since we've had it, despite the poorer quality of the Peppa Pig toys. Every child's different, I guess. But I don't regret buying this. It looks nice, and is a good sturdy toy. Now my baby son will get to play with it once he's old enough!

Review Summary: Annoying American Accent

This seemed like a great toy when it arrived, bright and colourful and lots of un. However, the moment I turned it on I wished I hadn't bought it as it has the most irritating American accent singing the songs and sounds on it. I wish I had known it would have this as I would not have bought it. Maybe they do an english voiced version and you would think that a product ordered and delivered in the UK would have this. All in all I am very disappointed. Check what version it is before you buy it.

I bought this toy yesterday for my 1 year old son for Christmas however as he was up last night and not feeling very well I decided to let him play with it. He absolutely loves it and this morning when my 3 year old son came downstairs he fell in love with it too. 4 hours on and he still hasn't got bored. This toy is very chunky and well made and looks as if it will last and last. A great and safe toy for young children and a fun adn interesting one for older children too.

Our 1-year old daughter absolutely loves this toy - I would highly recommend it and I think if she could talk she would too!! 'Hop onboard the animal train, come on everyone, learning about animals, it's really LOTS OF FUN!!!' hahaha - this song is so contageous - I just want to sing it the whole time. 'Animals big, animals small .... ' etc etc :---)))

My little nephew squealed with joy on his first birthday when opening this present. He found the music and animations straight away without his parents guiding him; and particularly loves the girafe. With all the toys he was given on his special day, the train is his favorite.
