Powerball Neon Pro - Blue Editorial Reviews...

Source: Product Description
One of the most unique and dynamic products available - 8 world records and counting !! The Powerball is a dynamic and completely revolutionary new gyroscope that literally explodes with mind numbing torque and inertia once you activate its internal rotor. It's about the same size as a tennis ball and weighs just a little more, but take a Powerball in your hand, set that motor in motion with the cord provided (or use your finger when you get used to it) and you'll experience an extraordinary sensation: Powerball slowly comes alive with gyroscopic force - a sublime yet pleasant resistance to your movement which is transmitted directly into your wrist and arms and which provides soothing, non impact rehabilitation at these lowr speeds. You want more? Take it higher...much higher! Bring your new Powerball up...up to 10,000rpm...the forces are now much stronger, much more vibrant. Higher! Take it to 12,000rpm...no, higher still...take it right up, thrashing and jerking as your arm and wrist try to control; and calm it down, faster and faster it spins until you have it up to an unbelievable 15,000rpm at which point it's exerting almost 40lbs of pressure on your limbs is travelling at nearly 250 revoultions per second - no batteries, no motor, just pure gyroscopic power - the fastest propelled device ever created!!!

Review Summary: Addictive fun!
Review:

I got mine the other day and have been thoroughly impressed.

Firstly, the size of it was very unexpected and a suprise!

Furthermore, the lights it gives off are brilliant, especially when you realy get going.
Also, I found it really addictive, occasionaly i find myself twisting my wrist subconciously because its such an amazing force in your arm when it gets going. It feels like a resistance getting stronger and stronger and your arm begins to ache but you just don't want to stop!
I enjoy using this so much and I am constantly trying to beat my record.

Just a bit of advice - you must be patient! It does take a while for you to learn how to use it properly but once you've got it, it's brilliant!

Well worth the money!

Review Summary: Repetitive strain
Review:

This was a very cool thing to start with and good fun. but it soon lost its appeal when i got repetitive strain in my wrist! i didn't even use it very much, 5 minutes here and there, no longer than it suggested on the box. i was off work for 2 weeks and my tendon was grating on my wrist bone when i moved my hand.
I don't think it is worth getting one of these at all, it does more harm than good.

Having bought one for a friend, I made the mistake of asking my husband to try the ball out to check all was well before wrapping for Christmas. Good job this doesn't need a battery - it would have been worn out! Initial start up needs total obediance to the instructions, topped with a quick review at YouTube, and instant gentle, wide rotation. Any 'rattling noise' is caused by trying to reduce the wrist circling too quickly not because its broken! As you build up both speed and balanced circling, which is where the 'skill' come in, its all singing and dancing. A fit guy, this ball had his arm, wrist and shoulder throbbing (you could see the movement generated) within minutes. A'blue' version - the colours (which flash most impressively especially the faster/more proficient you become, also, non-irritating 'whirling noise' increases so you don't need a 'screamer') are totally brilliant. Definately need a 'counter', with a throbbing wrist he kept checking whether all the pain was worth the gain! Great spectator sport as you may have gathered! Very addictive - I had to hide it. Would add we are not young except in mind! On the back of this experience, plus he has carpel tunnel stiffness, I ordered another for 'him' and other friends also asked me to add to my order for them, too!
Great present - not for the lazy or impatient. Beautifully boxed.
Finally, would add that I can't wait to get my hands on his on Christmas Day although whether he'll give it up is questionable!!
Happy Christmas!

Review Summary: Very Good
Review:

I got my powerball about a year ago and so far have found it to be very good. I play guitar and rock climb and have found this product very good for inproving grip and finger strength wihout putting strain on your joints like other products I have used. It can be used by any one as unlike other products the resistance varies to the amount of effort you put in so is effective regardless of your strength.

After breaking my arm I also found the powerball to be useful. After the cast was removed I found my arm was still far to weak to climb so used my powerball to build my forearm back to strength. It was one of the only exercises I could perform without hurting the bone, so found it very effective.

I also found it to be very effective for builing strength in the arms. Once you reach 11,000rpm and above it very quickly tire your arms out meaning it can be used for strength building to. I would highly recomend it to any musician or climber wishing to build strength or help heal an injury.

Review Summary: addictive ball of fun
Review:

when i first had a go of this i thought oh no! another bad buy like the pucchi pucchi stashed in the back of a draw somewhere. but no! after a few goes i started to get the hang of it, that was it then i was hooked. make sure you get the one with the counter so you can see how fast you can spin it then you will try your best to better your last score. anyway be careful because you will suffer the next day. ive tryed various exercise equipment over the years and never felt forearm 'burn' like this before. addictive and great exercise for the arms. just received the metal version look out for a review.
