Review Summary: Great Value, Hoping it Helps a little...
Review:

Well, I started looking for some Dumbells just recently and I finally found some that were in my price range and also provided a reasonable challenge for myself.

Amazon.co.uk have provided an excellent service; I ordered these on the 31st December and they arrived at my Doorstep on the morning of January 2nd. I immediatly tried the Dumbells out and they definatly gave me a challenge for the coming days. Hopefully this will help me to 'build me up' just a little more. If these work then it's money worth spent!

These weights are absolutlty fantastic value for money. They have a handy carrying box and their only possible downside is that they have a rough handgrip surface. This can easily be solved by wrapping cling film on the handgrips or simply letting calouses develop on your hands. This is simply an excellent buy

Review Summary: Not heavy enough but sturdy enough
Review:

I thought I'll buy a pair of dumbells for home use to acompany my efforts in the gym as I rarely get enough free time to go more than twice a week now. I made a mistake though because I thought they were 20kg each side!! and not the combined weight, thus making it only 10kg each side and pretty much useless to me. doh! But as for the quality of these dumbells, apart from the (I gotta say, the sharpest handles I've ever held) rough/sharp handles then they're really good and sturdy.

Review Summary: Great item!
Review:

Unlike some other reviews here, mine arrived the very next day, so no complaints there. The spin-lock bars do have a very rough grip surface, but when used with weights gloves this gives a great grip on the bars and I consider it a benefit. If you don't have gloves I'd recommend getting some for any serious free-weight training, and these as they are excellent value. The delivery case is a handy, tough, moulded storage box too.

Review Summary: Good weights
Review:

Have been using these weights for more than a decade - yes more than 10 years, still as good as when i first bought them. Spinlocks are great for adding or decreasiong weights very quickly. Good bit of knirling on the metal hand grips so that they don't slip our of your palms and i have no calusses.

Good weights, excellent value.
